Jan.4--GERMAN shipping giant Hapag-Lloyd has announced a widespread levy of currency adjustment factor (CAF) fees on import and export trades to and from north Europe on February 1 until further notice.
From North Europe to the Far East there will be a 2.78 per cent CAF increase on exports of US$24 per TEU and $37 per FEU.
From North Europe to the Middle East there will be a 1.41 per cent CAF increase on exports to $24 per TEU and $37 per FEU.
From North Europe to the Middle East there will be a 1.41 per cent CAF increase on exports to $24 per TEU and $37 per FEU.
From North Europe to the Indian subcontinent there will be a 1.41 per cent CAF increase on exports to $24 per TEU and $37 per FEU.
From North Europe to the Mediterranean there will be a nine per cent CAF increase on exports to $24 per TEU and $37 per FEU.
From North Europe to the West Africa there will be a nine per cent CAF increase on exports to $24 per TEU and $37 per FEU.
From North Europe to the Indian Ocean Islands there will be a nine per cent CAF increase on exports to $24 per TEU and $37 per FEU.
On imports, from the Far East to north Europe, there will be a 2.78 per cent CAF increase to $24 per TEU and $37 per FEU.
